Wow, it’s hard to believe it only 6 months since we started delivering our full timetable of services here in the Wellbeing Centre.
We have had so many highlights but were particularly delighted to be involved with our friends at Artworks to deliver a project as part of the Women of the World programme. Please take a couple of minutes to watch the video HERE made by www.becuriouser.media celebrating the project and the fabulous women involved. The flying women made by our group were a spectacular sight at the exhibition in Kala Sangham. We can’t wait to be involved in the next one.
We have a Family Fun Day coming up during half-term week for our asylum seeker and refugee families on 15th February 10am -1pm. If you would like to know more please do get in touch.
If you would like a free blood pressure check we are working with our partners at HALE to offer checks as part of their initiative across Bradford. They will be in the Wellbeing Centre with their equipment and advice leaflets on Wednesday 21st February between 10am and 2.30pm. Please do call in, no appointment needed.
We are always looking for exciting projects to be involved in. If there is something you would like us to offer, or support with, we are always happy to discuss ideas and wherever possible make them happen.
I’d like to leave you with this quote by Audrey Hepburn:
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m possible”
Let’s work together to make it possible.
With warmest wishes,
Helen Lincoln – Wellbeing Centre Manager
