STREET MEDICINE TEAM
Driven to deliver the best to those excluded by mainstream healthcare, our Street Medicine Team Service operates a weekly program using our mobile medical unit visiting different locations in Bradford and Leeds. Breaking down the barriers of inequality our Street Medicine Team promotes immediate treatments to those in need, leading on to regular and beneficial engagement with primary care services and General Practice registration. Equipped and staffed to deal with the full range of medical conditions our friendly outreach staff are highly skilled and experienced, bringing hope and health to those in need. Our clean and safe mobile unit delivers all you should expect from General Practice in the locations you don’t expect. Health promotion, Practice registration, assessment and treatment, health screening and advice are all provided and reliable. Taking the time to understand the most important need on that day for all patients and planning together is enabled by full access to medical records, updating these for any future care. Collaborations with other care providers and support organisations enable this service to remain a trusted, useful and up to date front line service.
