We are looking for two medical receptionists to join our friendly team within our innovative and successful practice, based in the centre of Leeds.
At York Street Health Practice we provide sensitive and responsive primary care services for people who are homeless or living in temporary unstable accommodation, those who have come to Leeds as asylum seekers and refugees, and other groups who find it difficult to access health care.
The successful candidate must have a passion for tackling health inequalities and working with some of the most disadvantaged. This is a fast passed environment so you will need to be flexible, adaptable with excellent communication skills, be computer literate and work well as part of a team as well as on your own and using your initiative.
An understanding of working with sensitive and confidential information and flexibility to cover holidays/sickness is essential, as well as your ability to work under pressure and multi task. Experience of System One is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.
These are extremely busy and rewarding roles which can prove challenging and pressurized at times so experience of working with people whose circumstances can make them vulnerable would be a distinct advantage
If you are interested in either post you are strongly recommended to have an informal chat about the post and/or arrange a visit to the practice, please contact: Kim Stott, reception manager or Linda McGowan, practice manager on 0113 295 4840.
Closing date for applications 11th February 2018
